Background

Bill Amberg joined Ewald Consulting in January 2007 as a Government Affairs Consultant.  Before joining Ewald, Amberg served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Health and Antitrust Division of the Minnesota Attorney General’s Office, where he represented the Minnesota Department of Health, drafted legislation and policy proposals on a broad range of issues, and undertook numerous investigations, among other duties.  Prior to that, he worked as the Director of Communications and Research for the Minnesota Democratic Party for seven years, where he oversaw all information dissemination for the party and advised hundreds of elected officials and their staff on communications and media strategy.  Amberg also served as a legislative aide to Congressman David Minge, and as policy director for several gubernatorial and Congressional campaigns, and as an independent public relations and media consultant.
